Tether, TrueUSD, and now USDCoin? Maybe this is just Coinbase saying, “ok, it’s obvious Tether isn’t backed by 1:1 USD, let’s actually do it.” I do trust Coinbase enough not to create/support a scamcoin, so this seems like a good thing to me.
